    Just as good if not better than the GM OEM units at a much lower price for two vs. the price of one GM OEM shield. Dorman says they come rust-proofed but I painted them just the same because they are subject to corrosion. Try some PB Blaster Corrosion stop on the frame of your vehicle in the rusted areas or on areas you want to protect from corrosion. Forget the painting because the rust attacked the painted areas just the same or paint first and spray this product on after. Water just rolls off. Best price for this product at your local Home Depot ($4.67). This product leaves a oil coating but hey its under the vehicle where the rust attacks everything especially those brake lines and they are no fun to change or make.

    Very nice. Fits perfectly but does not contain all of the parts you will need.

    These Dust Shields worked really well for my 2003 F150. The old ones were rotten enough that they wouldn't have held the parking brake standoff pins any longer.Please note that you do have to remove the axles to replace the shields.

    My dust shields have been rotting off for a long time and I decided to change them since I was pulling my axles for a bearing job anyway. These went in smoothly and seem the be made pretty well. Hopefully the powder coating stays on and they'll last me a while.

    Nice parts will work for the replacement of the original ones, wish the metal was thicker and the paint was better. Otherwise they will fit exactly as the original ones do.

    Nice replacement for rusty rear brake dust shields. Fit is exact, good quality and includes new rubber seals for emergency brake and drum adjuster.

    The dust shields on my 2004 Chevy Avalanche rusted enough to flex and rub the brake rotor. I was a bit of a puzzle to get these in place but it can be done without the need to open the differential and remove the axles. They have a nice coating that should outlast the factory dust shields and fit well.

    Worked perfectly on my 2001 Suburban 1500 for my rear dust shields that rotted away. Easy install, oem quality and fast ship. whats not to like?

    Mine were practically gone and needed to be replaced. I saved a bunch of money with these. The hardest part was getting the driver side e-brake cable back on with needle nose.

    The dust shield seems to be well made and was not flimsy in my opinion. Fit perfectly. Instructions were useless. I wish it were a two piece design - pulling the axles just to replace the shields seems so unnecessary.

    Fit my 2003 1500 Express van good. Was a lot less work then pulling the axles. Their is 2 metal tabs you have to bend after you install them or you will hear a scraping sound.

    called all our local auto parts stores and either they could not get this particular item or the price was absolutely ridiculous. We decided to check out AutoPartsWAY and see what we could find.     I have been using Dorman products for the past year and the quality meets or exceeds the factory parts.I have used these backing plates on my Tahoe and Envoy and they fit perfect.

    The backing plates fit perfict and they came with the rubber grommets for the park brake lever witch is a added bonus.I priced them at the dealer and auto part stores and the pice at AutoPartsWAY could not be beat.
