    I have these in all black. I think these look spectacular on a 2014 Silverado LT (without the unnecessary, ridiculous chrome door handles, of course). I do wish that the panel on the angle ends was a but more flush, even a thinner material. It looks kind of just... thrown on there and on one end on each of my running boards the panel fits differently than the other end (not as well, there's more of a gap). It's not a big deal but... common. I wish you could adjust how much they tuck up to the truck but these are still higher up than the OEM running boards which were so huge that all they did was make me trip getting out of the truck and sometimes hit the curb when (this is not legal) going around the idiots who block right turns by jumping curbs like a boss. Anywho, if you get these all in black, they're pretty much all plastic except for the mounts which I like - no rust. They are sturdy and the installation procedure was easy as sin so... good deal. I recommend them.

    Great product. Would get 5 stars if the brackets that came with them had fit my '13 Ram. Dee Zee sent me the correct brackets but was still out all that time of finding they were wrong.

    Nice tough running boards with great traction for ice and snow, I'm optimistic they'll hold up in our salt spray environment. Most installation instructions in this country seem to be written by the same 5 year old and the instruction sheet for these running boards were no exception, but there were enough decent pics online (not at Dee Zee's web sight!) that installation was reasonably straight forward. The boards themselves were 5-star minus a star for the substandard -though typical- installation instructions.

    Good product. I originally bought these for a 2009 Silverado regular cab, moved them to a 2012 GMC extended cab, and now have them on a 2005 Silverado regular cab. The finish/color has held up well.Simple installation with no modifications required on any of the three vehicles. Some drilling is required to secure the splash guard in the front wheel opening. Be prepared for some scrubbing noise at first, as the brackets rub against the body mount brackets they bolt to. They will wear in after a short time, and a little spray lube won't hurt either. I didn't try this as it's a minor annoyance at worst, but cutting out some plastic discs from an empty antifreeze bottle and installing them between the brackets might stop the noise.

    Our steps work well. Heavy duty, middle passenger side needed a different bracket it was about half an inch off (gap), but called Dee Zee directly and they sent a couple replacement pieces and a separate connector piece (was missing one). Wear glove when installing! Used a crossbar for torque as factory body mounts are very tight. Would definitely purchase again.

    Purchased a pair of steps for Ford E-350 church vans. Step quality was good but mounting hardware was lesser quality than expected. Box came shipped torn up. Ends of one of the steps was bent. Had to hammer it out. Had to a angle iron to make the steps fit the van.

    I looked @ alot of different running boards. I did not want the nerf boards because all of them I see are rusted out on trucks that I see them on, Road Salt!. I wanted aluminum ones because of this. My wife is 4' 11" and has a little trouble getting in our 2000 F-250 Super Duty. This will eliminate the folding step stool that we carry in the back for my mom also.I installed these myself with no problem. Everything went as per the instructions. Easy install, Nice fit, looks good.For the price it was worth it!I received them in 2 days!

    The Rough Step Running Boards do what I needed them to do, provide me with a reliable skid free step in all sweather conditions. However, they are noisy. Any road debries or road side weeds that strike the step can be heard in the cab. I need the stable footing platform and I am will to accept the noise as a trade off. Also, I use my truck as a farm truck and I am off-road in fields.

    I bought these boards for my 2011 Sierra and I would definitely reccomend them- they really dress up the look of the truck and give it some sex appeal. Installation wasn't all that hard, it just took a long time (about 1.5 hours per side). I had to use an impact wrench to get my body mount bolts out even though I know I shouldn't have, and then there was a lot of drilling and bolting required. Would have been easier wiith a second person. And it is a HUGE help to have ramps or a lift.Now that they are on the truck, there are two things that i don't like, but they just look so damn good. First of all, my Sierra seems so much lower to the ground- I lost the ability to go over high curbs, might get a front leveling kit or lift kit to fix this. Also, while there is weather seal down the top of the board, there is no seal where the mudflap meets the board, so muddly water always drips down the mudflap and onto the board leaving dried spots of muddy crud on the front...

    The only thing I wish was that you didnt have to drill thru the "step" part of the board. It makes a "clean" look before to a "unclean" look after, especially if your unlucky and drill thru a high spot. The high spot plus a bolt head leaves a really high spot. Its very functionable but why dont you folks do the under channel app like others I've installed? Thanks! ~G

    The Dee Zee running boards are very well made and look awesome on my truck. The installation was fairly easy. Make sure to read the instruction first then you will have an easy time to install. The chrome and the black looks great together. And they are also very strong. I give these a triple A rating.

    I purchased this part number and one other of the same style for my business, after checking with all other wharehouse connections AutoPartsWAY was the only one that had these running boards in stock! This type of construction is what we need in Alaska, allow the self cleaning of footware with MUD or SNOW to happen, and a safe surface on entry of Cab of Truck! Heavy duty construction by Dee Zee, For the "Work Truck" and good enough to Look good also!

    The items were not received in a timely manner, but the company did a decent job of letting me know the updated status of my order so I really cant complain about their service. The items themselves were exactly what I expected and were fairly easy to install. The Dee Zee running boards are working well so far and no complaints.
