    Very well built, similar or superior quality than OEM. I used this on a 98' Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 V8. Pretty easy to install, you need to remove the coil AND the battery. If you dont remove the battery you might not have a lot of space to work. VERY IMPORTANT: The tensioner is tighten to a stud that also works as ground for the PCM and the alternator. After you tight the tensioner into place, make sure you clean the cable terminals (make them shiny!) and tight them very well and in the apropiate order. My jeep didnt have power after I installed the tesioner, and it turned out I didnt tighten the ground terminals properly. After cleaned and tighten the terminal, she started right up with no problems!

    Used several Dorman products and recall when they're claim to fame was specialty hardware for automotive use. The tensioner arrived in a minimalist box with a single slip of paper offering just general info but no specifics on this application. The unit it's self is what I'll call average replacement parts quality. The one issue I did notice is the indexing tab is a very different design than oem(why I gave 4 stars.) Seems ok but the oem design is superior in my opinion. Once installed I loosed the pulley and torqued to spec. Been on a 1000 miles no issues....Tip: If it's going on a Magnum V engine just removing the coil and air box is all that's needed. 10mm 1/4" drive set up will do both. Plus removing the belt obviously. Some utube vids suggest removing the alt. Not necessary. Done in under 30 minutes.

    Part was easy to install, great craftsmanship, and quality company. Just ensure you don't over tighten the mounting lots or it will crack the ears off!!

    Great price,very good aftermarket part.Most tentioners i buy come with the nut this one did not,so save your nut.Would recomend this part for your 3.0.
