Always buy German-made for your old VW, especially something as important as the master cylinder. FAG/FTE is German ... and any other brand (unless you can find an unused original VW part, and good luck with that) will come from either Brazil or China, which aren't making VW aftermarket parts that last. Also, you won't need a bleeder-primer kit for this type (Super Beetle), as the reservoir doesn't sit on top. Instead submerse the MC into a partially full quart of brake fluid, then pump the plunger with a Phillips screwdriver until no bubbles appear. Seal it as you remove, then top off the lines as needed before install. Before re-connecting the lines from your reservoir, cap them, fill the reservoir, then let them fill. Messy, yes. That way when you bleed your brakes afterward you don't have a huge amount of air in the system.
