      This mat is made of thick rubber and gives outstanding protection to your tailgate also provides a slip free area.

      Good quality and fit my needs perfectly. I took another reviewers advice and used industrial strength Velcro to attach it to my tailgate instead of using the supplied hardware. I couldn't drill holes in a new $50,000 truck. Be advised that it will make your tailgate heavier .
