1970 Ford Mustang Exhaust System Kit 6 Cyl 4.1L Magnaflow

Wish it was a little louder but I guess that's my style. I want the wrx sti rumble. Been looking into headers. Unequal headers is what I'm looking for.

Bolts right on with no problems! It has great flow and sound quality.

The product is great in terms of quality. Very solid construction. Tip is actually smaller than stock and I'm not really too into that but the quality is nice. It is louder than I thought it would be for having 2 resonators and a muffler. I think I had it installed in under 30 minutes, super easy and spot on.

Very nice product, great sound, nice bends and welds, but has a manufacturing defect. The exhaust tip on the passenger side was welded on at a slight angle. Because it's a large oval, it's very obvious.

Gift for my son and his Ram 1500 CC 4WD Laramie. "Installation easy, looks and sounds great, can feel the additional HP." He's happy, so I'm happy.

This thing roars!! It'll make your Duramax sound as good as it runs. It fit almost perfectly thanks to the weld on hangers and I love the band clamps they send with it. Shipped out fast and the packaging was good too, no damage when it arrived. Took me longer to get the old system off then it took to install and adjust the new one. These pipes are so big I was afraid it might not fit when I had it laid out in the garage but it fit very nicely. These trucks should've come from the factory sounding this good!

Great deep sound. Not a "fart can" sound. Just cut the existing exhaust 10" after the resonator and slip on. Very simple install and great results. I highly recommend this exhaust.

We have a 2013 Suburban 2500 and this exhaust fits perfect and sounds great. Got a great deal on this via the AutoPartsWAY market place. Paid $100 to have it installed and you definitely feel the increase in performance. Our gas mileage went up from 12 Mpg to 13Mpg. In a gas guzzler, every little bit helps. We also installed an Airraid cold air intake and coupled with the new MagnaFlow exhaust, our Subby feels much more powerful! I think the factory intake and exhaust chokes the power out of this beast.

Put this on my 96' grand Cherokee with a 5.2 engine. Along with a MagnaFlow cat. This thing sounds awsome.

Looks great !! If you have the money to blow for "Just for Looks", then this is a good idea. Easy to install, fast delivery, and packaged very well.

There was one nut missing and I wish it would have included the mid splited tube connector to the catalytic pipe to have a closed sealed or or optional for the vehicle model. I Had to go out and look for one, in the middle of nowhere, and it was no where to be found optional use a reduction electrical pipe and heavy duty clamps to seal those ends. Sounds great!

Had this installed on my 2000 Eclipse GT 3.0L V6 this weekend and its amazing. Car sounds way better than it did, no issues with installation. Completely worth every penny. Too bad they don't make headers for my car....

Great sounding muffler. Only gave four stars because the driveshaft clearance was way too close. It needed some incouragement not to rub. On the highway the sound can get annoying after a while but it's not obnoxious. Overall im happy with my purchase.

Excellent fit, not a "fart-can" sound like the junk you get off the shelf at the auto parts stores, It did add 4-8hp (dyno'd). I'd suggest you get the Downpipe from ZZP in addition to this exhaust, (I got one with the 200-cell cat and got an additional 15hp). The only negatives about this exhaust are if you have no sound-deadener installed the car's interior will resonate. This is a automotive design flaw not a Magnaflow one. The only other problem I discovered was the lack of brilliant shine (like the picture).I drove to Alaska after installing this exhaust and had no issues with it.

i really like the deep sound it makes to my veloster turbo 2013, the only down side is that i paid a month ago $827 and now is at $640 and i ask if were the same and they told me it is used or refurbish but is brand new i wasted $200. the product is amazing i will recomended is easy to install.

I am very happy with this product. Put it on 2006 duramax with the 6 speed manual trans zf6 truck it helped the sound of the turbo. This exhaust is a 5inch all the way back about a foot behind were the exhaust hooks to down pipe is 4inch fits well although two of the hangers do not line up not a big deal though.

Went on pretty easy, the hardest thing was getting the tips right. Other than that sounds great and I picked up just a little better gas mileage.

It is not stainless but aluminumized but still cheaper than any other brand.

Installed in my '06 WRX about 10 months ago and I'm very happy!All of the hangers lined up and the flange for the downpipe was in the perfect location. The exhaust tip points straight out of the bumper (OEM style, which I prefer) rather than at an angle ("turnt up") like most eBay catbacks do.Paired with an Invidia 3" Bellmouth Catless downpipe and I love the sound of my WRX!

This was my first exhaust installation, and I bought this kit because it doesn't produce that whiny sound that the other exhaust kits do. I actually chose the Magnaflow over the Flowmaster because everything that I read suggested that the Magnaflow sound was near stock at cruising speeds which is the case. This is what I was looking for, so it's perfect for me. If you are looking for more of a ricey sound, one of the other kits might be what you are looking for, though I have to say the Flowmaster dBx does sound very nice.The muffler tip looks great, but it does stick out about 3/4" from the rear so be careful after going for groceries because it would be very easy to hit the tip with a bare leg. While I think some might be okay with a Magnaflow brand on their leg, I certainly would not be one of them. Still I like it because it sticks out just enough that you can read the Magnaflow logo on it.Power wise, you probably wont notice anything unless you...

This direct fit system was the easiest replacement I ever seen. The sound and look are outstanding for the affordably priced upgrade. I recommend this system highly. My OEM exhaust came off intact in two pieces, and is still usable.

I had some fitment issues on my 09 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I reported the issues to MagnaFlow and apparently they hadn't heard of any fitment issues. I took it to an exhaust shop to make some slight bends, so it would not hit my differential. Cost me another $300 for installation, but love the sound of this exhaust. Makes the car sound like it looks! The exhaust is made very well and looks amazing... Too bad you can't see it under the car :)

I have a '97 Honda Civic and it fit pretty well... That being said, I did have to take it to a muffler shop to get a seal welded, but it only cost me like $20, and the reason I got the exhaust system was because mine was falling apart. I also have a cold air intake and together I was getting around 38 MPG in town. I would only get that when I was driving nice, but even driving it hard I would get around 35-36 MPG. Has a nice sound though and looks great on the car.

I've had this product for about a year now. I love it. It was easy to install, looks great, and sounds absolutely awesome. It's not obnoxious at all. It's a nice balanced low tone. It does wake up when you downshift into passing gear but still not overbearing. I'd purchase this again in a second. Among one of my favorite purchases!

EXCELLENT quality and FANTASTIC sound from this exhaust! I listened to many sound clips and watched many videos before I purchased. Although many claim that the JK Wrangler (at least since 2012) does not gain much (if any) performance from anaftermarket system, I wanted the looks and sound to match. Now I have both!!! Yes, rather pricey, but if you do your research ahead of time, you should only need to spend the money once. Also shop around, it is possible to save some $$.

added a nice deep throaty growl to my 3.6L V6 for installation I recommend a torque wrench to tighten clamps you don't want to under or over tighten them.the only issue i had was the OEM tip clamps are tack welded on and when reinstalling on them on the new pipes i couldn't tighten them enough to keep them from moving so for a temporary fix I wrapped some stainless steel braiding from an old hose around pipe and tip and put clamp over for a tight fit until I get clamps tack welded back on pipes

I know what you're thinking. You want this on your car. It sounds good, not too loud at all. It makes for a nice low purr. Its simple to install and comes with the instructions. You need very few tools to install the kit and it fits like a glove. I'd suggest this for other G6 enthusiasts.

2001 New Beetle Sport (turbo) The flexible connection on the down-tube from the turbo separated and rather than replacing with the stock VW pipe I bought the Magna Flow. This pipe includes the catalytic converter and I also bought the "cat back" system. I had the two items delivered directly to my local tire and brake shop and they didn't have any difficulty. The advantage of having a hoist cannot be minimized. The old system off and new system on in 90 minutes. My wife say the sound is, "cool dude loud" which is what I was hoping for. The turbo spools quicker so, seat of pants, it feels like a increase in performance. I have experienced a 2-3 mpg increase in the first three tanks of gas so far over my previous average.

Great sound! The price is right too! I like it better than more expensive cat-backs. The installation was easy too!

I put this on my 2003 4.7 Dakota and it's a truly amazing system. Install was a breeze and the fit was perfect. Sounds great both inside and outside of the truck. Highly recommended.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:-- that box might get framed when I'm done-- Tubing looks beautiful, laser etching very evident, looks beautiful but what does it do?-- Hangers look sturdy and even the hoseclamps provided look good-- Uniform color, no oily surfacing or gouges, welds look pristine-- Exhaust tip is classy, laser etched logo.First impressions are good, I'm waiting on a TruBendz flexpipe and will update this review once I have it installed (I'll try to get a decent audio recording)

The sound on this unit is amazing! I wanted to add this on my 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5L because, well because I wanted too. :) I would recommend Magnaflow to anyone who wants a deep rumble and not that fake a$$ fart mufflers. I couldn't surpass the deal AutoPartsWAY gave me on this.

I really wanted dual exaust but for the money and time this took to put on im glad I didnt this exaust is easy and really ment for someone who wants to do it themselves. It makes a deeper sound than I expected and did take about a week or 100 miles to break in. For the first week it smelled and didnt quite sound right.

I had this installed in my 08 WRX and I am very pleased with with the sound and extra HP. Its got a nice tone and not over powering while driving.

finally found a good deal on this exhaust. not manufactured for my year car anymore. worth wait for good deal, but definitely would've paid full price if i'd known how much better my engine would rev and sound! My twin turbos really shine through exhaust note now! worth money for sure. install was straightforward.

Looks great! Sounds Awesome. Everything needed for install was included. It took us a couple of hours to remove the factory exhaust and install the new Magnaflow.

My only complaint about this product is that the parts department missed a little detail. It arrived without nuts for the U-bolt that holds it together. Not a huge deal, but as I live in DE if i hadnt lucked out and a couple of random ones that fit i would have been stuck.

I put this on my 05 325ci and it fits perfectly.installation: The only problem I had with installation was getting off the old seized on copper nuts from the exhaust flange. I would definitely recommend heating them up with a torch as I did or spraying them down with PB blaster the night before and letting it sit or you may snap the flange bolts.Performance: It sounds nice for the most part, but from 2500 rpm to 3500 rpm there is a brutal cabin drone and is a bit on the loud side for me but if that is what you are after this is the exhaust for you. The whole system is stainless which is nice especially if you live in a area with a lot of rain like myself.

Looks great and sounds good. It is not loud like some and has boost the MPG! Not much of a HP boost.

The product is top notch. Very well made. The stainless steel is great. The sound is incredible. The only concern was the fitment is a little akword and you have to re-fit until you get it right. Only hardware is the exhaust clamps. That is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It went on my 1996 camaro SS.

This exhaust was the best one around for the best price, half the price then any one else. Ordered it on a Thursday night and got it next day early afternon. The best part was that it was only $3.99 to ship the exhaust. It fits great on my 2005 ford f150 and was real easy to install. So i would highly recommend this product for your ford f150.

Alot of people are looking for a loud exhaust and some increase horsepower. This will give you increased horsepower but it's not that loud. I was doing some research online about both the Flowmaster (chambered) and the Magnaflow (straight flow). I decided that the Magnaflow just made more sense. Installation was pretty easy and all the necessary hardware was included. This was a direct fit on my 07 F150 XLT so don't listen to that other comment.

When i recieved the package, it was very well packaged and well put together. Overall, the longest part of the install was getting the cat-back to header screws out. I needed to torch them to really get any give from them. Now... As for the exhuast. It is very mild mannered in my opinion. Im going from a Type-R Buddy Club Spec-3 racing exhaust to this. Its not nearly as loud but still has a nice low growl at low speeds. So i like to keep it in the 3000-3500rpm range for the growl. My intake is actually louder when you gun it. I DO NOT have headers on the car yet, so i can not gauge how loud the car will be when i install those, but Im hoping to pick up the tone a little bit when i do. I may in the future cut out one or two of the magnaflows resonators to make for a louder exhuast note. Or install high-flow cats in place of them so i can pass emmisions after installing the headers.Overall, the product fit perfectly. Install took less than an hour with the help from a...

THIS EXHAUST SYSTEM BROUGHT MY 2012 FUSION SPORT TO LIFE. THIS SYSTEM HAS GREAT TONE. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT IF YOUR GOING TO PUT A STEEDA COLD AIR INTAKE WITH A STEEDA CUSTOM TUNE.THIS REALLY OPENED UP MY ENGINE. I ADVISE THE 93 OCTANE TUNE. AFTER YOU DO THIS WORK JUST HANG ON AND HAVE FUN!!!

I bought the alluminized steel version 7 years ago for a 2005 RAM 1500 5.7L, it rusted out. This is stainless like the OEM system so should last until the body rusts out. Was delivered 1 day early, gold stars for that! Install took 1hour 15min including removing the old system. The system came with band clamps, not the u-bolt clamps pictured, and had metric bolts. Be sure to slip them onto the pipes before mating the parts together on the truck. Lube the rubber hanger grommets and the hangers with some grease or oil to make slipping the hangers into them easier. A saws-all with a metal cutting blade will help remove the old system if it's rusted together.Over all very pleased. Good exhaust note, sounds like a Hemi. Everything you'd expect from a Magnaflow system.

This is a high quality system. Stainless steel muffler an double wall rolled SS tip. Can be loud for a Navigator 5.4 yet it's quiet while in overdrive. Get plenty of looks from other pick up trucks with dual exhaust systems. This baby rumbles. I'm sure there is an increase in HP, but I didn't notice much but I just love the sound. Install was a breeze with a reciprocating saw. Would be a pain without. Took about 2hrs to put on and position properly. Magnaflow did their homework on this one. I love it! You will too.Henry

This cat back kit was very easy to install on my 97 LX Sedan. Took me about 30 minutes in my driveway with help from my teenage son. Make sure you are careful when you remove the front most set of exhaust bolts because you will need to reuse them. Mine were very rusty and I almost thought about cutting them, glad I didn't. Everything else you need is provided. The exhaust tip fits perfectly in the factory bumper cut-out with about 1/2" clear. The tone is very deep and throaty. It is not raspy in the slightest. I'm very happy with the Magnaflow kit and highly recommend it.

Swapped the stock exhaust for this one on my 03. Very pleased with the results. The sound is aggressive and it does turn heads, but it isn't so loud it is obnoxious. It's has a good solid throaty growl.

the exhaurt system was easy to install it fit perfect, one exhaust tip was recieved with a dent,but all about exhaust and magnaflow replaced it without any hasle.

I have been using this setup in my 1970 Mach 1 since 11/2006. I had a local muffler shop install it for me.

I purchased the Magnaflow 16616 dual cat back exhaust system for my 06 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCrew. The "key" picture from the installation document was hazy, but a little googling from my iPhone found the original PDF document which showed what needed to be done. Also, the pipe connecting the factory exhaust to the muffler need to be shortened by 6 inches in order for everything to fit properly. If you don't have a reciprocating saw, you'll need one for this particular installation. Entire system can be installed in < 1 hour if you have the right tools. The sound is awesome....not loud at idle...just a nice drone...step on the gas and you definitely announce your presensce...I'd by this product again and again...

I put it on my 4.0 X and it sounds awesome! It has a nice rich tone, not like some pocket rocket honda, more like a truck should sound!

I caught this exhaust system at a great price. It took a while to install, but the fit was pretty good. It sounds great and looks good. You have to use the old 2.5 inch extension from the cats to the new part of the exhaust. Overall I am very happy with system.

I have had the following exhaust setups on my 2007 Mustang GT (beyond the stock setup):1. FRPP GTA axleback2. Borla Stingers axleback3. Magnaflow 15881 catback (really not from the cats all the way back, instead from the H-pipe back)The Magnaflows fall in between the stingers and the GTAs in sound level. The magnaflows offer no drone which the Borlas suffered from in the 1800-2000 rpm range. The magnaflows are quiet in town and loud under WOT. Quality is top notch and the mid-pipes are beautifully bent while keeping the full true 2.5" diameter and have less bends than the stock mid-pipes. The polished magnaflow mufflers look very nice too.Overall I am very satisfied with the magnaflow setup but sometimes I miss the lovely sounds that came from the Borla Stingers though I never missed the drone.

You will Love the sound of this Exhaust system.I keep the rear windows down on my Quad Cab Hemi just to hear em.I call it the Boat Motor sound...Nice!!Very fine product ,the fit and finish is a true work of art.

THE EXHAUST SYSTEM LOOKED AS GOOD AS THE PICTURES IN THE ADVERTISEMENTS. THE WHOLE INSTALLATION TOOK ONLY 4 HOURS. THE HARDEST PARTS WERE GETTING THE BUG HIGH ENOUGH TO WORK UNDER AND CUTTING THE OLD SYSTEM OUT. I DID NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW CLAMP THAT MATES THE CAT TO THE RESONATOR. THE NEW PIECES FIT PERFECTLY AND HUNG ON THE EXISTING RUBBER HANGERS. THE SOUND IS SWEET, NOT TO LOUD OR ANOYING. OVERALL A VERY GOOD EXPERENCE. MAGNAFLOW WILL BE THE SYSTEM OF CHOICE FOR MY OTHER VEHICLES.

This exhaustt kit was very easy to install, took me about 1 hour. the results were good. You get a nice sound when at idle not too loud but not too quiet. I could tell a difference in power but i do also have a air intake kit so that helps.
