      Ordered two of these when my "service air bag" light came on. Had both delivered for less cost than the dealer had just to diagnose the airbag sensor light - before dealer price for the part or replacement labor.Install comments (08 Silveardo 1500): I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes before starting work as that was recommended by the dorman youtube videos for installation. During this time I took off the splash guard under the bumper that sits in front of the senors. Use a 10mm box-end or combo wrench to take out the old sensor and install the new. I wasn't able to get a socket wrench in the tight space. The wire connectors come out with a safety clip then I used a screwdriver to pop out the main plug. I used some dielectric grease when installing the new sensor. I put some inside the sensor and on the connector - hopefully this extends the life of the sensor.Total install for two sensors took about an hour. Service airbag life went off...

      I have a 05 Silverado 1500 5.3. both my sensors went out at the same time!! I bought 2 of these and installed them. worked great!! I just pulled the airbag fuse before installing and worked just fine! the red airbag light went off and the service air bag message too! I was scared at first but it went well! I wanna thank everybody that helped me with this thanks!

      Very satisfied with this, it is exactly like the GM one I replaced. And it was 2.4 times less expensive than the last one I bought at a GM dealer.And if you have the right size torx bit to fit the upper end of the bolt supplied, you can do it all from the top in less than 10 minutes, including pulling the air bag fuse. Simply a quality part.

      Perfect match for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. My air bag light came on and had the dealer scan the computer and said that one of my two front sensors were bad. I was quoted about $425 to have it replaced and programmed. Since I did some research before hand I was curious to see what they had to offer for help. Well I decided to do the job myself. I ordered two sensor to just replace both front sensors. Very easy job. Park the vehicle with the front wheels centered straight ahead and remove the keys. Look for your airbag fuse and remove it. Mine was located in the engine compartment main fuse box. Then you just need a 10mm wrench and look for the sensor on the bottom of the radiator near the upper part of the bumper frame is. remove the 2 pin connector and install new sensor. Re install the 2 pin connector. Install the fuse, and insert key and turn on. The air bag light will blink about eight times then clear. That is it!

      I bought two to replace the two that are on the front bumper. My airbag light was going on and off and the code indicated this as the problem. No more light.

      Easy to install. worked perfectly. Make sure your battery is disconnected for 15 minutes before installing.Less than an hour to install.

      the item arrived very fast. it was easy to put on. you need to watch the you tube video to show you what to do. make sure that you disconnect the battery for at least 15 min or more. once it was on. the light on the dash turned off.

      Looked like an exact duplicate of the OEM part. Installed easily. Dealership quoted me $600 to replace both front sensors cost me $114 to do it myself.As far as how it works I hope I never find out. But considering the same parts have been replaced 3 times when it was under warranty with genuine GM parts I don't believe it could be worse.

      Exact fit--took care of that anoyying airbag lite.. Only one bolt to remove ,unplug old,plug in new and tighten down bolt.
